Tom Calverley

Tom Calverley has extensive experience in project management and academic roles. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Simbec-Orion since August 2020, Tom has previously held positions as a Project Manager and Associate Project Manager. Prior to this, Tom completed a PhD in Neurovascular Research at the University of South Wales, focusing on the impact of physical activity on cognitive health in older adults, especially regarding Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia. Additionally, Tom lectured in physiology and public health, eventually leading modules and developing new educational content. Earlier experience includes a role as Support Services Coordinator and Concierge at Nuffield Health and coaching gymnastics at Leatherhead and Dorking Gymnastic Club, demonstrating adaptability and communication skills throughout a diverse career. Tom holds a degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of South Wales.
