Bonnie Anderson is an experienced educator and coordinator with a strong focus on outdoor environmental education and healthy active living. Currently serving as the Outdoor Environmental Education and Healthy Active Living Coordinator for Simcoe County District School Board since August 2018, Bonnie develops and enhances educational experiences in various outdoor settings. With a long history at Canadian Wildlife Federation as a Facilitator Trainer since 1985, Bonnie trains individuals across Canada to conduct educational workshops. Previous roles include Field Instructor at Peel District School Board, Program Director at Bark Lake Leadership Centre, and Naturalist at Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board, where Bonnie designed and implemented integrated outdoor education programs. Bonnie holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Education in outdoor and experiential education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Outdoor Recreation and Physical Geography.
