Gregory Lawson

Gregory Lawson, OCT, is an experienced secondary school teacher currently with the Ottawa Catholic School Board, specializing in the Religion department and focusing on diverse perspectives, mindfulness, historical analysis, and empathy development. Lawson actively contributes as a Teacher Lead for the Black Student Association, leading equity initiatives and cultural appreciation efforts. Additional roles include various teaching positions, both online and in-person, across multiple subjects within the Ottawa area, alongside content development for Black history resources in Canadian education. Lawson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classical and Ancient Studies, a Bachelor of Education in History and English, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa.
