Shawn Johnston

Shawn Johnston is an experienced professional with a diverse background in administrative support, research assistance, and training within various organizations. Currently serving in a role focused on file management and disclosure at Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions, Shawn concurrently contributes as a volunteer graduate research assistant for the Residential Schools Land Memory Mapping Project at Carleton University's Geomatics and Cartographic Research Centre. Previously, Shawn held an office administrator position at Inner City FHT, where responsibilities included facilitating staff onboarding and managing payroll, alongside conducting audits and preparing reports. Additional experience includes supporting educational initiatives as an undergraduate teaching assistant at OCAD University and training staff in electronic medical records at Inner City Health Associates.
