Michael Alskær Jensen

Michael Alskær Jensen is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud operations and architecture. Currently serving as the Head of Cloud Operations and Principal Azure Architect at SimCorp since April 2024, Michael previously held the position of Lead Cloud Architect at Nordcloud, an IBM Company, from August 2022 to March 2024. As the Owner of Alskær Consulting from October 2013 to March 2024, Michael provided technology partnership services to small businesses. Additional roles include Head of IT Operations at Basisbank A/S and various positions at SKI - Staten og Kommunernes Indkøbsservice A/S, where Michael contributed as an IT Architect, IT Business Consultant, and IT Consultant. Early career experiences include IT consulting at JSG Media ApS and roles as a datateknikerlærling at the Center for IT og Digitalisering - Greve Kommune and Job-Support Danmark A/S. Michael completed a Datatekniker degree from TEC, Ballerup, with certifications in CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft Infrastructure, Linux Infrastructure, and Programming.
