Rudin Hamsyah

Rudin Hamsyah has a diverse range of work experience in the field of land management and partnerships. Rudin has held various roles in different companies, starting with their current position as the Head of Land Management at Sime Darby Plantation since November 2023, where they are responsible for land certification and environmental permits. Prior to this, they worked at Asian Agri as the Partnership & SSL Manager from May 2022 to October 2023, overseeing business development and operations in Kalimantan and Papua. Rudin also served as the Department Head of Land Partnership and Farmer Relationship at PT SMART Tbk from December 2018 to April 2022, focusing on land acquisition and farmer relationships. Rudin gained experience in partnership management and external relations as the Plasma Manager at Noble Group from July 2012 to October 2018. Earlier in their career, Rudin held positions in corporate affairs and partnership development at PT. MIWON INDONESIA and PT REA Kaltim Plantations and Group. Rudin started their career as a Field Area Coordinator at Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) in 2010, where they were involved in climate insurance research activities. Overall, Rudin's work experience showcases their expertise in land management, partnerships, and corporate affairs.

Rudin Hamsyah attended IPB University from 2004 to 2009 and obtained a Sarjana Sains degree in the field of study of Meteorologi Pertanian. In 2010, they also received a certification in Pelatihan Dasar – Dasar Sistem Informasi Geografis from the Pusat Penelitian Lingkungan Hidup Institut Pertanian Bogor.
