Anurag Padmanabhan began their career in 1997 as a Management Trainee and Executive at Thomson Consumer Electronics. In 2000, they moved to Samsung Electronics as a Senior Executive-Sales, handling North Central India business. In 2002, they joined Citi as an Area Sales Manager, responsible for Channel Sales and managing Distribution sales. In 2007, they were promoted to Assistant Vice President & Zonal Sales Manager, responsible for generating new and Used vehicle business volumes. In 2014, they joined Xeeva, Inc. as Regional Sales Director, responsible for starting new business opportunities in Middle East. Anurag was later promoted to Vice President India Business and then General Manager India Operations. In 2022, they became the Country Manager and Head one Vendor Program at Simfoni.

Anurag Padmanabhan has a Bachelor of Engineering from Nagpur University, where they studied Electronics from 1990 to 1994. Anurag then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Maharishi Institute of Management from 1995 to 1997.
