Yotam Nir

Yotam Nir has a diverse range of work experience. Yotam is currently working as a Data Analyst at Similarweb since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant in the "Derech Erech" Project at Tel Aviv University from January 2022 to December 2022. In this role, they were involved in the design, execution, and analysis of a large experiment examining drivers' responsiveness to economic incentives with respect to driving patterns.

Before that, Yotam worked as a Research Assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from August 2021 to December 2022. Yotam worked with Prof. Alon Eizenberg on a project relating to merger analysis, where they were responsible for theoretical/mathematical modeling, development of methodological approaches, and empirical analyses.

Additionally, Yotam has experience as a Teaching Assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they assisted in teaching Econometrics for MBA students from October 2020 to March 2021. Yotam graded exercises and projects and conducted office hours with students.

Yotam also worked as a Research Assistant at the Bank of Israel's Research Department from February 2019 to October 2020. Yotam assisted in processing and analyzing large datasets and carried out econometric estimations for the department's projects. Yotam was recognized as an outstanding Research Assistant in 2020.

Lastly, Yotam has experience as an English Teacher at Wall Street English from August 2016 to August 2017. Yotam taught English to adult students at all levels, ranging from no knowledge of the English language to near-native fluency. Yotam conducted lessons in both one-on-one and group settings.

Yotam Nir completed their education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 2022, they obtained a Master's degree in Economics. Prior to that, Yotam pursued a Bachelor's degree from 2017 to 2020, specializing in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics (PPE). Yotam graduated with honors, achieving an impressive GPA of 94.14.
