Matthew Hooker

Matthew Hooker currently serves as Vice President and Commercial Portfolio Manager at Simmons Bank, having held this position since December 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew accumulated extensive experience at Truist from November 2015 to December 2023, where responsibilities included serving as Vice President and Homebuilder Finance Relationship Manager, as well as overseeing CRE - SFR and C&I portfolios and working as a Commercial Credit Analyst. Earlier experience includes a Credit Analyst role at Farmers Bank Virginia from February 2012 to November 2015, focusing on the analysis of commercial and real estate credits and producing financial statement spreads. Matthew began his career as a Bank Teller. Academically, Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Old Dominion University and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Tidewater Community College.
