Sarah Fortner

Sarah Fortner is an experienced professional with a diverse background in finance and meteorology. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Simmons Bank since June 2022, Sarah previously worked as a Wealth Advisor at Legacy Capital Wealth Partners and as a Financial Representative at Encompass Financial Partners. Before transitioning into finance, Sarah held various roles in meteorology, including Meteorologist positions at TEGNA, Hearst, and WCNC-TV, where responsibilities encompassed on-air reporting, technical liaison work, and graphic design. Sarah began their career as a Weather Producer at WFSU TV/FM Public Broadcasting and has a solid educational foundation with a degree in Meteorology from Florida State University.
