Alexander Brown

Alexander Brown is the Head of the Telecommunications, Media and Technology Sector at Simmons & Simmons, a position held since May 2007. In this role, Alexander specializes in technology transactions, data compliance, and commercialization, advising clients on a wide range of data privacy issues, including data breach responses and international data transfer compliance. Prior to this role, Alexander served as an Associate and Trainee Solicitor at the same firm from September 1997 to 2007. Alexander holds a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge, completed in 1996, and attended the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle from 1986 to 1993.
