Emma Martinez Guppy

Emma Martinez Guppy has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Emma started their career as an EFL teacher at Bournemouth Academy from 2003 to 2006. Emma then transitioned to Quarto Publishing, where they held the positions of Foreign Rights Manager from 2006 to 2008 and Senior Foreign Rights Manager from 2006 to 2017. Following that, they worked as Deputy Rights Director at Simon and Schuster from 2017 to 2018. Emma then joined HarperCollins Children's Books as a Senior Rights Manager from 2018 to 2019. Emma Martinez Guppy subsequently became the Head of Rights (fiction) at Hachette Children's Group from 2019 to 2020. Continuing their career in the publishing industry, they served as the Head of Children's Rights at Welbeck from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are the Head of Children's Rights at Simon & Schuster UK.
