Maria Mamouna

Maria Mamouna has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Maria started their career as a Publishing Assistant at Nea Aktina Publications from June 2009 to August 2010. Maria then interned at the National Portrait Gallery in the Rights & Images Office as a Marketing Intern from April 2011 to June 2011. Maria also had an internship at Phaidon Press as a Publicity Intern from September 2011 to December 2011. Maria worked as a Rights Negotiator (freelancer) at the National Portrait Gallery from June 2012 to December 2012. Maria then joined Walker Books, where they held multiple positions including Business Affairs Assistant from August 2012 to April 2014, Business Affairs Executive (sub-rights) from May 2014 to December 2015, and Senior Business Affairs Executive from January 2016 to December 2017. Maria further developed their expertise at Andrew Nurnberg Associates, working as a Contracts Manager from January 2018 to September 2022. Currently, Maria Mamouna is the Head of Contracts - UK, Australia & India at Simon & Schuster UK starting from October 2022.
