Carla Deresh

Carla Deresh has over 25 years of progressive experience in human resources and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Executive Director at Simon Fraser University's Provost Office since September 2018, Carla also holds interim roles as Director of Compensation & Job Evaluation and Director of HR Strategic Business Partner Services. Prior to this, Carla spent over 11 years at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in various roles, including Associate Dean (Interim) and Divisional Business Manager for the Faculty of Arts. Earlier career experience includes a position as Work Design Advisor at Vancouver Coastal Health and Director of Student Services at JPTC. Carla holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Human Resources from Lakehead University, completed in 1997.
