Vice President, Advancement And Alumni Engagement at Simon Fraser University

Erin Morantz, CFRE has extensive experience in the field of fundraising and development. Erin currently holds the position of Vice President, Advancement and Alumni Engagement at Simon Fraser University since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President, Leadership Giving (National) at the Canadian Cancer Society from October 2019 to December 2020. From September 2017 to October 2019, Erin was the Vice President Revenue Development at the Canadian Cancer Society - BC & Yukon.

Erin's earlier experience includes serving as the Director, Advancement - Faculty of Applied Sciences at Simon Fraser University from April 2013 to August 2017. Before joining Simon Fraser University, they worked at KCI Ketchum Canada as a Senior Consultant from July 2011 to March 2013, and as a Consultant from April 2007 to July 2011.

Erin has also held positions at BCIT as an Instructor from 2010 to 2013, Ovarian Cancer Canada as a Manager, Donor Relations in 2005-2006, Leave Out ViolencE (LOVE) BC as an Executive Director from June 2001 to June 2005, and Arts Club Theatre Company as a Manager, Major Gifts from 1999 to 2001.

Erin Morantz, CFRE, holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Simon Fraser University, which was earned between 1992 and 1997. In terms of additional certifications, Erin obtained a citation in Fundraising Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Furthermore, Erin has completed the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) program offered by CFRE International. In 2023, Erin is planning to enroll in the Johns Hopkins Medicine Philanthropy Institute to further enhance their expertise in the field.
