Kamala Jasmine Todd

Kamala Jasmine Todd is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice at Simon Fraser University since 2020, with a focus on Indigenous relations, decolonizing planning, and sustainability. With over 20 years of experience in various roles, including Indigenous planner and filmmaker at Indigenous City Media, Todd has contributed to projects supporting Indigenous communities and advanced education in urban studies. Notable roles include Indigenous Relations Consultant for the City of Vancouver, Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia, and Director of a staff training video on truth and reconciliation for the City of Burnaby. Todd holds both a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Geography from UBC.
