Bhavin Manjee

Bhavin Manjee is a Partner at Simon-Kucher. Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Bhavin spent six years at Accenture, where they were promoted from Analyst to Consultant in 2006 and Manager in 2009. During their time at Accenture, Bhavin was selected to participate in the Global Accenture Development Partnerships program, which sent him to the Philippines for a rotation. Bhavin also executed M&A engagements in iconic transactions during the financial crisis.

Some of Bhavin's notable project experiences include leading teams through the creation of pre-close activities for two major deals (the creation of a joint venture between Morgan Stanley and Citi Smith Barney's brokerage businesses and the merger of Bank of America and Merrill Lynch). Bhavin also managed the transaction checklist for both close events. In another project, Bhavin led a team of 8 consultants in merger integration planning to align a acquiring company’s Spanish technology platform with U.S. regulations, products, and business processes at the U.S. target. The scope of this project affected 3.3M customer accounts across 750 retail locations.

In yet another project, Bhavin evaluated technology capabilities across the parent and acquired business, designed the customer experience, and identified capability gaps to enable the desired customer experience. Bhavin then executed the strategy, which affected 1.4M customers and 400 retail locations. Bhavin has also designed an unprecedented development-sector funding model, including investment fund structure, portfolio financial modeling, and fund administration mechanics for World Wildlife Fund APAC region. Bhavin also calculated the fund expected value using securitized cash flow projections coupled with market penetration analyses leveraging qualitative and quantitative data sources.

Finally, Bhavin has also quantified losses resulting from Hurricane Katrina for an acquiring company during a merger. Bhavin developed dashboards to track operational metrics and personnel and authored significant sections of the company’s disaster recovery playbook.

Bhavin Manjee has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Finance from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the Swiss Finance Academy.
