Pere Lara

Pere Lara has extensive experience in quality management and operational leadership within the manufacturing industry. Since May 2018, Pere serves as the Manager of Switch & Sockets Assembly APU at SIMON, overseeing the production of electrical components and managing a diverse team of 75 operators and various technical support staff. Pere previously held the position of Site Quality Manager at SIMON, where responsibilities included leading a quality team and driving a culture of preventive quality control across the production site. Prior to SIMON, Pere worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at General Cable, focusing on process documentation and compliance, and held quality control roles at TESEM Group and Cotons Cererols. Pere’s early career involved civil engineering positions, including a civil engineer role with Arico Forest and a position as assistant civil engineer with PABASA/COPCISA. Pere holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
