Alexandra Primiani

Alexandra Primiani is a seasoned publicity professional with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as Publicity Director at Avid Reader Press, part of Simon & Schuster, Alexandra has ascended through multiple roles, including Associate Director and Senior Publicity Manager. Prior to joining Simon & Schuster in July 2019, Alexandra held positions at Melville House, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Penguin Random House. Additionally, Alexandra has contributed as a freelance book reviewer for Publishers Weekly and New York Daily News. With a background in education as an English language assistant and foreign language instructional technologist, Alexandra holds a BA in German from Reed College and completed a study abroad year in Deutsche Literatur at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
