Alia Derriey

Alia Derriey is an experienced professional in the publishing and editorial sectors, currently serving as a Publicity Assistant at Simon & Schuster since July 2023. Previously, Alia held multiple roles at Quarto Magazine, including Staff Editor and Editor in Chief from September 2020 to May 2023. Additional experience includes an Editorial & Publicity Internship at W. W. Norton & Company, an Editorial Internship at Penguin Random House, and an internship with the Jewish Women's Archive. Alia has also worked as a Copyeditor for Columbia Daily Spectator and has gained early career experience in retail and reporting. Alia earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Barnard College and completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Bromsgrove School.
