Kim Shannon

Kim Shannon currently serves as SVP of Sales at Simon & Schuster, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Kim Shannon spent a significant amount of time at Penguin Random House, where responsibilities included SVP of Adult Retail & Education Sales, SVP of Retail Sales, VP and Director of Sales for National Accounts, and EVP of Adult Retail & Education as well as overseeing Knopf Doubleday Sales Strategy. Kim Shannon also held the position of VP and Sales Director at Random House Sales from 2008 onward and was the Director of National Accounts at Simon & Schuster from 2007 to 2008. Kim Shannon earned a degree from the University of Notre Dame, graduating between 1994 and 1998.
