Sunny Schwartz

Sunny Schwartz is a prominent Criminal Justice Reform and Program Consultant, Author, and Speaker with over three decades of experience in the criminal justice system. Since June 2000, Schwartz has consulted through sunnyschwartz.com, and has also been a founding board member at Five Keys Charter Schools and Programs since July 2016. Notable achievements include founding the Resolve to Stop the Violence Project, the first restorative justice program in San Francisco, and establishing Five Keys Charter School, the nation's first high school for incarcerated and post-release adults. Schwartz is the author of "Dreams from the Monster Factory," which chronicles transformative work within the criminal justice system, advocating for rehabilitation and restorative justice. Previous roles include Director of Community Restoration and Government Affairs with the San Francisco Adult Probation and Five Keys Charter School, along with extensive legal experience as an Associate Attorney and Legal Counsel for the San Francisco Sheriff's Department. Schwartz holds a Juris Doctor from New College California School of Law.
