Aaron Wong

Aaron Wong is an accomplished professional currently serving as Vice President of Informatics at the Simons Foundation, a position held since November 2022, following interim roles in the same department. Previously, Aaron Wong was a Data Scientist and Project Leader at the Flatiron Institute from November 2016 to May 2023 and worked as a Data Scientist at the Simons Foundation from February 2015 to November 2016. Aaron Wong began a career in bioinformatics at UC Davis as a Bioinformatics Software Engineer and Computer Programmer from July 2002 to September 2008. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Princeton University, earned between 2008 and 2015, and a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2003.
