Chihyu Chang

Chihyu Chang is a Senior Bioinformatics Engineer currently working at the Simons Foundation, where they have been since 2025. Previously, Chihyu held positions at various organizations, including Phosphorus, LifeMine Therapeutics, and Kim Forest Enterprise Co., Ltd., where they contributed to the development and optimization of bioinformatics pipelines and performed analyses of genomic data. Chihyu earned a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Nutrition from Taipei Medical University, followed by a Master's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and another Master's Degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from New York University. Their expertise includes variant calling, cloud-based workflows, and collaboration with biologists to achieve project goals.
