Mark Murphy

Mark Murphy is a highly experienced Senior Automation Engineer with a robust background in automation and control systems spanning over two decades. Currently employed at SimoTech since June 2020, Mark previously worked as an Automation Engineer at GE Healthcare and as a Senior Automation Engineer at Alpha Automation & Controls Ltd. Mark's extensive skill set includes PLC coding with Allen Bradley and Rockwell Software, as well as SCADA systems integration. Mark began the career as an Operator at Musgraves Retail Centre and has held various engineering positions, including at Integrated Controls Solutions and ONG Automation. Mark holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Physics and Instrumentation from Cork Institute of Technology and completed the Leaving Certificate at Colaiste Chriost Ri.
