Tom Long

Tom Long is a seasoned Automation Project Engineer currently employed at SimoTech since December 2019, where involvement includes various automation projects at Eli Lilly utilizing Foxboro and DeltaV DCSs. Prior experience includes working as an Automation Engineer at Zenith Technologies from September 2015 to November 2019, where responsibilities included commission oversight at Janssen Sciences Ireland and support for a DeltaV migration project at Janssen Biologics in Leiden, Netherlands. Earlier roles include Venue Manager for the Irish Tag Rugby Association and Quality Technician at Flextronics, complemented by an internship at Platform Avenue Ltd and initial experience as a bar attendant at Reardens of Washington Street Ltd. Tom Long holds a BSc in Business Information Systems from Munster Technological University, completed in 2014.
