Juan Elias III MS, MLS (ASCP) has extensive experience in laboratory operations and molecular biology. Currently serving as the Director of Laboratory Operations at Simple Laboratories, a role transitioned through a merger with Lifescan Health, Juan formerly held similar leadership positions at Lifescan Health, including Director of Laboratory Operations and Molecular Laboratory Director. Prior experience includes various managerial roles at Tempus Labs, Inc., overseeing molecular operations in next-generation sequencing and infectious disease testing, as well as serving as a Molecular Lab Supervisor. Juan began a career in laboratory science as a Molecular Biology Technologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and has experience in the hospitality industry as a bartender. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Rush University and certification in phlebotomy from Midwestern Career College.
