Iain Cardnell

Iain Cardnell has extensive work experience in technology roles. Iain is currently the Director of Technology at Simple Machines since 2017. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Software Engineering at Nasdaq from 2016 to 2017. Iain'searlier roles include being a Technical Lead and Team Lead at Barclays Investment Bank. Iain has also worked as a Senior Developer and Developer in various IT domains such as Metals, Equity Derivatives, Fund Linked Derivatives, and Money Markets.

Iain Cardnell attended the University of York from 2000 to 2003 where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Iain also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in 2018.
