Ali Hartley

Ali Hartley currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer at SimplePractice, a web-based electronic health record platform for mental health practitioners, since September 2024. Hartley is also a Founding Member of The L Suite, a selective community for Chief Legal Officers and General Counsels. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Legal and People Officer and Legal Advisor at Carbon Health, a national healthcare provider, and General Counsel at Favor, a digital health startup focused on reproductive health. Hartley's legal career began as an Associate at Reed Smith LLP, followed by a position as Assistant General Counsel at Sutter Health. Hartley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from Stanford University and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
