Sohil Walia

Sohil Walia has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 as a Research Project Assistant at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. Sohil then worked as an Engineering Intern at Honda in 2014 and as a Management Intern at Mahindra in 2015. In 2016, they joined Tata Consultancy Services as an Assistant System Analyst. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Binghamton University. Sohil then became a Graduate Research Assistant at Innovation Associates from 2018 to 2019. Starting in 2019, Sohil worked at Dynamo Software as a Business Intelligence Developer until 2021. In 2021, they joined Tecovas as a Data and Systems Analyst, where they were involved in various data-related tasks such as developing dashboards, data pipelines, and workflows. Currently, Sohil works as a Data Analyst at SimplePractice.

Sohil Walia completed their education in a chronological manner. Sohil first attended Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Industrial Engineering. Simultaneously, they also pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Operations Research from the same institution during the same period.

After their undergraduate and postgraduate studies, they continued their education at Binghamton University from 2017 to 2019. Sohil earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Sohil Walia also obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills. Sohil completed Advanced SQL for Data Scientists, Financial Forecasting with Big Data, and Statistics Foundations: 2 certifications from LinkedIn in June 2019. In November 2018, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Badge certification from Binghamton University. Sohil also completed the Engineering Ethics Foundations certification from Binghamton University in August 2018.
