J. Brian Schaer

J. Brian Schaer is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in derivatives and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Proprietary Portfolio Manager at Simplex Trading LLC since March 2020, J. Brian Schaer also holds longstanding roles as a Derivatives Trader at both the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. since January 1987 and January 1988, respectively. Additionally, J. Brian Schaer has been an Equity Derivatives Trader at CBOE since January 1988. Previously, J. Brian Schaer held the position of Portfolio Manager at Ronin Capital from October 2008 to March 2020.
