Zak Myers

Zak Myers has a strong background in quantitative analysis and algorithmic trading, currently serving as an Algorithmic Trading Analyst at Simplex Trading LLC since June 2024. Previously, Zak worked as a Quantitative Analyst at CloudQuant Alternative Data, where responsibilities included cleaning and organizing datasets to apply machine learning and statistical methods for alpha extraction. Past roles include Quantitative Analyst at Uniper and Quantitative Researcher at Musicfox. Zak completed two finance internships at Arconic, focusing on aluminum hedging policies and financial/marketing analysis. Zak holds a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago and a degree in Mathematics of Finance and Risk Management from the University of Michigan.
