Billy Ruck has a strong background in sales strategy, operations, and analytics. Billy started their career at Longer Investments, Inc. as a Portfolio Analyst. Billy then worked as a Equity Research Associate at Stephens Inc. focusing on the restaurant sector. Billy went on to complete their MBA at The Walton College of Business before joining Tyson Foods as an Analyst intern, where they worked on overhauling brands and strategies within the Deli division. Billy then joined Hewlett-Packard as a Sales Planning & Strategy Manager before transitioning to a Corporate Strategy Associate and ultimately a Corporate Strategy Manager. At Salesforce, Billy held multiple roles, including Go-To-Market Strategy Manager, Senior Manager of Go-To-Market Strategy, and Director of Sales Strategy. Billy then joined Elastic as the Director of Global Sales Analytics & Operations, where they built the Sales Insights/Analytics and Compensation Design functions. Most recently, they worked at Zenefits as the Head of Sales Strategy & Operations, focusing on GTM planning, KPIs, tools, and incentive compensation design. Billy's most recent position was as the VP of Revenue at Hydra Host. Currently, they are working as the VP of Revenue Optimization at SimpliField. Throughout their career, Billy has demonstrated a strong ability to drive data-driven GTM strategies and operations, optimize revenue, and deliver valuable insights and recommendations to senior executives.
Billy Ruck started their education in 2001 at the University of Arkansas, where they pursued a double major in Finance and Marketing. Billy completed this degree in 2006. Billy then went on to further their education at the University of Arkansas, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Entrepreneurship between 2008 and 2009.
