Jeff Schwarte

Jeff Schwarte, CFA, currently serves as the Chief Equity Strategist at Simplify, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jeff spent over 30 years at Principal Financial Group, where Jeff was a Portfolio Manager leading the Global Systematic Solutions team. In this capacity, Jeff managed stock selection models, risk models, and portfolio construction tools, as well as proprietary analytical tools that supported research analysts and portfolio managers. Jeff holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, earned between 1989 and 1993.
