Koushik Kumar has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Koushik started their career at Swastip Industries Pvt. Ltd as a Project Manager Trainee (Intern), where they gained experience in analyzing costs, budget estimates, and production rate tracking. Koushik also played a management supporting role in overseeing fabrication and implementing safety and quality control guidelines.

Koushik then worked as a Junior Engineer at BMW Group, where they participated in the design and development of engine shaft and automatic transmission systems. Koushik conducted performance and A/B testing on prototypes, ensuring their quality and functionality. Koushik also had responsibilities in production oversight and assembly line management.

Afterward, Koushik joined GTSS Inc as a Junior Business Analyst. Here, they focused on business use-case modeling, business object modeling, and the design of diagrams using unified modeling language methodologies. Koushik also wrote test cases, performed user acceptance testing, and reported bugs and open issues.

Currently, Koushik is working at Simplify Healthcare, where they have held several positions. Koushik started as a Business Analyst, contributing to the company's project execution. Koushik later became a Business Analyst II/Solutions Engineer II, taking on more advanced responsibilities. Koushik then progressed to the role of Product Solutions Lead, leading product-related solutions. Most recently, Koushik holds the position of Associate Product Manager, where they play a significant role in managing and developing products within the organization.

Koushik Kumar completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2014. Koushik then pursued their Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at Northeastern University from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained a certificate in Economic Decision Making from Northeastern University during the same period from 2016 to 2017.
