Sergio Zamora has a diverse work experience in the field of controls engineering. Sergio is currently working as the Director of Controls Engineering at Simplimatic Automation since October 2021. Prior to that, they were the Automation Development Manager at Hendrickson from June 2018 to October 2021. Sergio also spent a significant part of their career at Schaeffler, where they held various roles such as Engineering Group Leader from November 2014 to June 2018, Senior Controls Engineer from November 2012 to November 2014, Electrical Control Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor from July 2007 to November 2012, and Controls Engineer Co-op from February 2007 to July 2007.
Sergio Zamora completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Puebla in the years 2002 to 2007. Following this, in 2006 to 2007, they pursued an Automation Certificate from Ostfalia - University of Applied Sciences. Most recently, from 2021 to 2022, Sergio earned an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
