Nicole Sorial

Nicole Sorial is a Cloud Software Engineer 2 at SimpliSafe since June 2023, previously holding the position of Cloud Software Engineer 1. Prior to joining SimpliSafe, Nicole worked as a Software Engineering Co-op at Salsify, where responsibilities included designing a tool for bulk data management and addressing scale-related issues in a Ruby on Rails system. Additional experience includes a Software Developer role at the Sandbox at Northeastern, collaborating on an admin web app, and a Software Development Co-op at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where new app features were implemented. Earlier experience includes a DevOps Engineering Co-op at SimpliSafe and a Research Assistant position at Khoury College of Computer Sciences, focusing on robotics and machine learning. Nicole holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Northeastern University.
