Alice R. possesses extensive experience in healthcare management, particularly in working with special populations and long-term care services. Currently, Alice serves as Manager II-GBD for Special Programs and Services at Simply Healthcare Plans, where responsibilities include collaborating with Medicaid special needs populations and leading initiatives that have achieved significant cost savings. Previously, Alice held various roles at Simply Healthcare Plans, including Manager I-GBD, and has also worked as a Case Manager at Amerigroup, conducting comprehensive assessments for Medicaid members. Earlier professional experience includes serving as a Social Worker at Abbey Delray South, maintaining high admission capacities and staff morale. Alice holds a Certificate in Healthcare Compliance from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master’s in Health Care Administration from Purdue Global, a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Broward College.

As a Florida, licensed health maintenance organization (HMO) and preferred provider organization (PPO), we offer health plans for people enrolled in Medicaid and/or Medicare programs. Our plans are designed around meeting the unique health needs of our members and include many specialty plans. In fact, Simply began as a minority-owned HMO and was the first to offer a Medicaid specialty plan for people living with HIV/AIDS. We are proud to now be offering PPO as well.
