Gita Jaikumar is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in healthcare and education. Currently serving as a Phlebotomist in training at Kentucky School of Phlebotomy, Gita specializes in various blood draw techniques. As the Outreach Director for Learn To Be Foundation and Co-Founder of HeMAlou, Gita is actively involved in community engagement initiatives. In addition, Gita has been a member of HOSA-Future Health Professionals and the National Honor Society, and has gained practical exposure through shadowing at Norton Healthcare. Gita contributes to the Podcast and Brain Resource Management Team at Simply Neuroscience and teaches mathematics at Mathnasium. Additionally, Gita tutors for the Science and Math Bee with North South Foundation. Currently pursuing a degree in Neuroscience and Medicine at the University of Louisville, expected to graduate in 2025.

Simply Neuroscience is an international, student-run, fiscally sponsored non-profit organization dedicated to fostering students' interdisciplinary interests in the brain through neuroscience and psychology education, outreach, and awareness.
