Karmena M. has extensive work experience in various roles related to information security and cybersecurity. Karmena is currently the Chief Cybersecurity Assessor at Simply Secure Group, having started in June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Island Networks Limited as the Chief Information Security Officer from June 2019 to June 2021. Between 2016 and 2019, they worked at GraceKennedy Limited as an IT Security Officer. Karmena also worked as a Security Operation Center Manager at Brier & Thorn Mexico, S.A.P.I de C.V for a brief period in 2015. Karmena'searlier work experience includes serving in multiple roles at a telecomms company from 2009 to 2015, including as an Information Security Analyst, IT Security Engineer, Web Developer, and Business Analyst.
