Kevin Gordon

Kevin Gordon has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a range of positions in engineering, project management, and leadership roles. Kevin began their career at Telecom Electrics Ltd in 1992 as a Network Technician, before moving on to Cable & Wireless Communications in 1995, where they worked as a Network Technician and Transmission Engineer. From 2007-2019, Kevin worked at Digicel Group, where they held various positions, including Wireless Broadband Engineer, Project Manager, and General Manager. Kevin'sresponsibilities included successfully planning, scheduling, and executing numerous projects, such as the Caribbean's first Executive Briefing Center and Digicel's Phase 2 4G rollout, and leading a range of corporate services and programs. In 2019, Kevin was appointed CEO of Simply Secure Group.

Kevin Gordon has a bachelor's degree in Computing and Information Technology from the University of Technology, which they obtained in 2003. Kevin also has several specialized certificates from various institutions, including ITIL Foundation, Project Management Professional (PMP), Cisco Lifecycle Services, and Criminal Justice Information Services Security Awareness Training. In 2014, Kevin attended three executive education programs, one at The Wharton School and two at MIT Sloan School of Management, which focused on advancing business acumen, management and leadership, and strategy in a global world. Additionally, they attended a project management course at Mona School of Business, UWI Mona Campus in 2012 and obtained a Level A WIMAX AGW Core certificate from ZTE University in 2011. Recently, they obtained certifications related to cybersecurity, such as building a cybersecurity talent pipeline, cybersecurity foundations, cybersecurity with cloud computing, IT and cybersecurity risk management essential training, and learning vulnerability management.
