Kamo Atanassov

Kamo Atanassov has over 25 years of experience in the advertising and creative industry. Kamo is currently serving as the VP Executive Creative Director at Simply180, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this role, Kamo served as the Creative Director at the same company from June 2017 to January 2022.

Before joining Simply180, Kamo worked as a Creative Director at CG Life from September 2016 to April 2017. Kamo also worked as a Teacher at Miami Ad School from October 2008 to September 2016.

Kamo has held various creative roles throughout their career, including serving as the Principal and Creative Director at Kámo Creative from May 2015 to August 2016, Creative Director at Zimmerman Advertising/Omnicom Group from May 2012 to May 2015, and VP Creative Director at CVR from September 2009 to May 2012.

Earlier in their career, Kamo worked as an Associate Creative Director at MARC USA from February 2005 to September 2008, and as an Associate Creative Director at Hirons from November 1999 to February 2005. Kamo began their career as an Art Director at Kres Advertising from June 1994 to September 1999.

Kamo Atanassov has a diverse education history. From 2016 to 2017, they attended Florida International University, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Global Strategic Communications. Prior to this, from 1988 to 1993, they studied at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, where they obtained another Master of Science (MS) degree. Their field of study during this time was Chemical Physics and Theoretical Chemistry.

In addition to their academic degrees, Kamo Atanassov holds a certification in Human Subjects Research. Kamo obtained this certification in May 2016 from the University of Miami.
