Ilyan Kovatchev

Ilyan Kovatchev is an experienced product design leader with a diverse background across various industries. Currently serving as Head of Product Design at Simplyhealth since March 2023, Ilyan has quickly established a high-performing design operation, achieving significant improvements in product strategy and customer retention. Previously, Ilyan was AI Products Design Lead at Arthur D. Little, where a suite of AI-powered solutions was developed, and held the position of Product Design Director at Deloitte UK, launching a major AI product in public service. Additional roles include CMO at FisherITS, Head of Product Design at 87percent and HW Fisher & Company, and contributions to innovation at Lloyds Banking Group and digital transformation at Telenor Bulgaria. Ilyan holds a BBA from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and extensive experience in driving product success and enhancing user experiences.
