Philippe Fauchet

Co Founder and Co-Owner at SiMPore

Philippe Fauchet began their work experience in 1984 as an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University. Philippe then moved on to the University of Rochester in 1990, where they served as a Distinguished Professor and Chair until 2012. During their time at the University of Rochester, Fauchet oversaw the construction of Vanderbilt University's first research building in over a decade as the Dean of the School of Engineering. Philippe introduced the concept of "intellectual neighborhoods" to highlight interdisciplinary research competencies. Additionally, Fauchet co-founded and co-owned SiMPore in 2007.

Philippe Fauchet obtained their Master's Degree from Brown University School of Engineering during the period of 1978 to 1979. Following that, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Physics at Stanford University from 1979 to 1984.
