Dhara Mungra

Dhara Mungra is a data science professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as Co-Founder of SimPPL since June 2022, leading a team focused on applying statistical methods to enhance accountability in digital content sharing and supporting newsrooms and organizations with machine learning insights. Prior experience includes significant roles at Bombora from September 2020 to July 2024 as Data Scientist III and II, where Dhara contributed to model performance evaluation and NLP research. Additional positions include Data Scientist at Gumshoe-Muckrock, Graduate Research Assistant at New York University, and multiple internships in data science and software development. Dhara holds a Master's degree in Data Science from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Nirma University.
