Calum Williams

Calum Williams is a skilled professional with substantial experience in data analytics and public sector solutions. Currently serving as the Lead Public Sector Solutions Architect and Lead Data Consultant at Simpson Associates since July 2023, Calum focuses on enhancing analytics strategy and technical implementation within public and private sectors, with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure architectures. Calum has been a PhD student at the University of Strathclyde since October 2014, researching computational modeling of transient jamming in colloidal suspensions. Previous roles include Public Sector Solutions Engineer at Alteryx, IoT and Big Data Engineer at City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd, and Technical Consultant at Eyecademy, among others. Calum holds a Master of Physics with a specialization in Complexity Science from the University of Strathclyde and has experience in both research and customer-facing roles.
