Edward Norman

Edward Norman is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in asset finance and project finance sectors. Currently serving as a Partner at Simpson Grierson since March 2021, Edward previously held the position of Senior Associate at Clifford Chance from February 2013 to November 2020, where experience included financing, refinancing, construction, leasing, sales, and complex structured transactions related to rolling stock, aviation, and maritime assets. Edward's role also involved a focus on PPP/PFI projects in transportation and defense sectors. Prior to that, Edward was part of the legal teams at GE Capital and New Zealand Post during secondments, and served as a Solicitor at Russell McVeagh's Corporate Advisory Group. Edward holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Otago, alongside studies at Charles University.
