Sally McKechnie

Sally McKechnie serves as a Partner and leads the Litigation team at Simpson Grierson, where Sally initially joined as Special Counsel to establish a Public Law and Government Team. Additionally, Sally holds prominent positions including Deputy Chair and Board Member of Gymnastics New Zealand, Board Member of Callaghan Innovation, and Convener of the Appeals Board at the University of Otago. Sally's prior experience includes a seven-year tenure as a Director at Cricket Wellington and three years as a Trustee for Life Flight Trust. Sally's legal career began at Crown Law, where roles included Team Manager and Crown Counsel in the Public Law Group. Sally's educational background encompasses degrees in Law and International Relations from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Otago.
