Wataru Ishida has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Wataru started their career in 2007 as an Operation Executive for LPG tankers at I-Shipcom Co., Ltd, and later moved to Kyoshin & Co., Ltd. where they served as an Operation Executive for Dry bulkers. In 2012, they returned to I-Shipcom Co., Ltd. as an Operation Executive for LPG tankers. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Blue Marine Management (Pte) Ltd as a Claim Manager and Singapore Representative for Dry bulkers and PCC. In 2017, they joined Clarksons Platou as an Operations staff for Dry bulkers, and in 2019, they became the Head of Operations at SSY - Simpson Spence Young in Tokyo, specializing in Dry bulkers.
Wataru Ishida began their education in 2001 at Aichi University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Modern Chinese Studies. Wataru completed this program in 2005. In the same year, they also participated in a four-month student exchange program at Nankai University, focusing on intensive Chinese language learning. Unfortunately, no specific field of study was provided for either of these educational experiences.
