Matt Smart

Matt Smart is an accomplished professional in demand planning and analytical roles, currently serving as a Senior Demand Forecast Analyst at Simpson Strong-Tie since October 2023. Previous experience includes positions as a Senior Global Demand Planner at Corning Incorporated from August 2022 to June 2023, and a Manager of Demand Planning at Particle for a brief period in 2022. Matt's extensive tenure at Corning Incorporated from June 2010 to May 2022 involved various analytical roles, including CM Planner/Buyer and multiple levels of Forecast Analyst positions. Prior to that, experience at BNSF Railway as a Senior Analyst and Analyst in Treasury, complemented by educational advancements as an MBA candidate at Texas Christian University, where Matt earned an MBA in Corporate Finance.
